As I’m sure most of you know/have gathered, the CBB is not the cheapest thing to run, and it is traditionally funded by contributions from board members at the two main annual gathers. Currently, the hosting package costs £110 per six months. However, since we will be donating the proceeds of the sale and raffle to the British Red Cross Australian Bush Fires appeal, I am going to have to ask for the funds from the board at large.

So, if you are able to donate a couple of quid to the running of the CBB, it would be much appreciated. The simplest way would be to PayPal, either by clicking here:

which is an entry on my LiveJournal with a link to the paypal whatsit

or just sending funds to chaletian@yahoo.co.uk if you already have a PayPal account. Alternatively, if you would prefer to send a cheque, please PM me for my address etc.

Any contributions will be greatly appreciated! I will post again to let folk know when the £110 has been reached. Thanks very much!

Thank you to everyone who donated money to support the board. I've received enough now, so we don't need to worry about it for a while!!!

It has been feeling increasingly inappropriate to get funding for the board from gatherers, partly because it's the same few people, and partly because the sentiment at the gather sales is moving more towards charitable donations. This being the case, I think it's fairer to ask the members of the board at large for donations. As I posted above, the board costs about £110 per six months. If you are able to donate a pound or two towards that, it would be much appreciated.

You can either donate by PayPal (either using this link or by just sending it to chaletian@yahoo.co.uk) or by cheque/bank transfer. If the latter, PM me for details. When I get to the £110 mark, I'll post again and say so.

This is purely voluntary - please don't worry if you can't afford it!

Many thanks,

Liss

I've now received enough money to keep the board running for another six months. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed something - it is very much appreciated.

I'm afraid it's that time again, when I come hat in hand requesting donations to help fund the CBB. However, due to a bit of overpayment in April, this time the target is down to £90. If anyone is able to donate a pound or two, it would be very much appreciated.

You can either donate by PayPal (either using this link or by just sending it to chaletian@yahoo.co.uk) or by cheque/bank transfer. If the latter, PM me for details. As usual, when I get to the £90 mark, I'll post again and say so.

Very many thanks, as always,

Liss

What ho, peeps.

I'm afraid it's that time again, when I come with my little bowl, requesting donations to help fund the CBB. The hosting for the six-month period is £110. If anyone is able to donate a pound or two, it would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks to everyone who donated money for the board. We now have enough moolah to see us through the next six months of hosting.

ETA: And due to a very generous later donation, the next target will only be £70.

(Edited again: due to another later donation, next target is £55.)

Bonjour, my fellow CBBers,

We have once again reached that merry season aka Liss looks awkward and asks for donations to help fund the CBB. The hosting for the six-month period is £110, though due to donations over that amount last time, I only need £55 for the next six months. If anyone is able to donate a pound or two, it would be very much appreciated.

You can either donate by PayPal (either using this link or by just sending it to chaletian@yahoo.co.uk) or by cheque/bank transfer. If the latter, PM me for details. As usual, when I get to the £55 mark, I'll post again and say so.

With, as always, very many thanks,

Liss

What ho, all.

While the CBB hosting costs are not quite as high now as they were and I've been happy to pay them over the last five years, I am once again requesting donations to help fund the CBB. The hosting for the six-month period is £85. If anyone is able to donate a pound or two, it would be very much appreciated.

You can either donate by PayPal (either using this link or by just sending it to chaletian@yahoo.co.uk) or by cheque/bank transfer. If the latter, PM me for details. As usual, when I get to the £85 mark, I'll post again and say so.

With, as always, very many thanks,

Liss
