I was wondering apart from miss Edwards and Nell Randolph is there any information on the mistresses of the British branch, or really any information at all about the school! Apart from having lots of Juniors and the location I can't remember there being much information given?

There isn't particularly. It's mentioned in Changes and then again in a later book (don't ask me which) when Doris Hill finally gets to the Platz but only in terms of the Dawbarns being a nuisance.

Off the top of my head, I think Ivy Norman moved there? I think she's the one who was originally Head of the Kindergarten they started there, and the assumption is that she stayed on when the school joined them, although Dollie Edwards became Head of the whole school. (Which would obviously have been fine with Ivy! She'd've hated having to come the Headmistress over the Middles and Seniors )

I'll have a glance through my books and the encyclopaedia when I go upstairs and see if I can come up with anything more helpful. :)

The Misses Alton, Everett, Stevens, Bell and Oldroyd stay at the English branch as well.

I have a feeling Matron Gould went there as well - I may be making that up.

Thanks so much! Although it was very strange to see that I was in the archived thread- I have no remembrance of trying to write a previous carnbach drabble although it was eight years ago :o
