Hi All,

We have a newly revamped website for useful CS links

http://cscharacterguide.googlepages.com/resources.html

It has all sorts of nifty things - the character spreadsheets and biographies from before, plus family trees for the La Rochelle, Maynard/Bettany/Russell clans and various old girls, plot synopses, and cover art, plus a series chronology in table format with books, the Head Girls, important school news, marriages and engagements, births and deaths and other important events.

In addition, a lot of the useful resources linked to from this board (collecting checklist, birthdays and appearances of characters, FAQs and Questions, EBD Bibliography and Reading Order, Academic Bibliography, prefect lists and so on) have been gathered and included.

If you have contributed to one of the board lists included, and want to be acknowleged, please let me know.

In the near future, we will condense the stickies in this forum into links to this site, tidying up the forum somewhat.

To whom should we speak if we see incorrect information in the character spreadsheets? (Coo, correct English, Hilda would be proud! )

You can PM me about spreadsheet corrections, ideally with reference (book and chapter) to go with it.

I just love the site, Jennifer, just LOVE it! Thank you so much for organising and hosting it. If it was a book, I'm sure it would very soon take on a well-thumbed and tatty appearance because it will be used so much :D

It's a great site, Jennifer, thank you - noticed recently it had been visually enhanced - looks really good as well as being extremely useful

Great site, Jennifer and thanks for all the hard work. I'm trying not to make too many EBDisms in VB and the age inconsistencies were driving me mad!

I think there have been problems with the site for a while, Mohini. It's independent of the CBB so we can't do anything to sort it out.

It works fine for me, just click where it says download link and follow instructions then it opens in the browser window OK. I've just tried it and it's fine.

I just tried it. Got as far as downloading the attachment. But when I clicked on the links from there, it appears that they no longer exist.

weird, I just checked about 10 random pages and they all worked fine for me. I used IE if that makes any difference...strange how it works for some of us and not others.

Very odd. It is still not working for me, even if I use IE instead of Firefox.

It's fine for me. You download the attachment and then it prompts you to open each individual page. Don't save anything, just click on open.

I have a feeling that someone said you needed to have a google account and be logged in for it to work but that might be wrong...I do and it works fine for me. I use it all the time!

I can't get to it either. It keeps telling me the file doesn't exist!
