SLOCs/children/pets/imaginary friends: 1 rather lovely SLOC, no children/pets.

Favourite and least favourite books and characters: This is hard as it's years since I read them all - but I'd say that my favourite is probably "Peggy" - it was the first CS book I read as a child.
Favourite character - I'm pretty fond of both Peggy and Bride.
Least favourite - some of the later (Swiss era) new girls were a bit ordinary - I never really believed in them like I did the early/middle era girls

How you got into the Chalet School: "Peggy" was a gift when I was about 10 or so. I read a few others as a young teen but then got hooked in my early 20's when they were being re-released in paperback. I had a fair number of them (I was probably missing about 8 or so) but sold them all in the 90's when I decided (incorrectly!) that I wouldn't be wanting to read them anymore. Now I'm waiting eagerly to be able to get them as e-books.

How you found the CBB: I've been rediscovering some old favourites by other authors as e-books and found The CBB while I was googling for Chalet School books.
