Name: Jennie

Age: mid-30's

Location: half-time in Connecticut and half-time in Brooklyn, NY

SLOCs/children/pets/imaginary friends: An SLOC

Favourite and least favourite books and characters:
Favorites books are definitely the war-years -- particularly Exile and At War.
Least favorites are Win the Trick, and some of the other late Swiss ones (they kind of blend together!).
Characters are a bit harder to pin down -- I like the early Jo, Biddy (except for her bizarre Irishisms), and Miss Ferrars. Young Simone and Mary Lou can both be a bit irritating.

How you got into the Chalet School:
I first discovered school stories (Malory Towers, St Clare's) when I was in Ireland at 11. When I exhausted those, my mom then picked up several Chalet Schools for me on a trip to London -- and thus started a long habit.

How you found the CBB:
The magic of Google. And I'm so excited. :D
