Hello, I'm Aniseed, and in fact I used to post on the old board about 10 years ago (can it really be that long?) but drifted away when I'd read through the series (acquired from eBay in paperback). I'm now re-reading them, and very much enjoying the full text versions from GGBP.

Age (ish!):40s

Location (approximate - no actual address, please!): East Anglia

SLOCs/children/pets/imaginary friends: None of the above

Favourite and least favourite books and characters: I'll have to give some thought to that.

How you got into the Chalet School: I found copies of Rivals and Peggy in the bookcase that a friend had given to my sister years before. She'd never read them, but I devoured them and was immediately bewitched.

How you found the CBB: Can't really remember now as it was so long ago, but probably on Google.

Thank you for the lovely welcome! I'm sure I shall soon settle in. I'd better refresh my memory about Matey's one and only approved method of bed-making. (I could never imagine what that involved...was it that the top sheet had to have the seam on the outside so that when it was turned back over the blanket it was nice and neat? Hospital corners were de rigeur I don't doubt, but what else?)
