I think a 3 year absence probably calls for a new profile... especially since my old one appears to be ten years old, and I know it wasn't my first (help! how long have I been coming back here?)

Name: Eilidh (both board name and real name - pronounced Ailie)

Age (ish!): 31 (how, exactly, did that happen?)

Location (approximate - no actual address, please!): central Scotland - Lanarkshire, to be specific.

SLOCs/children/pets/imaginary friends: 1 SLOC (that, at least, hasn't changed)/2 children (that has)/1 cat/still very many imaginary friends.

Favourite and least favourite books and characters: I looked back at my old profile and discovered that I could name favourite books, but not characters. Now, I probably can't name a favourite book (though I am a fan of the 'family' books) but I have to confess to a sneaking fondness for the Maynard boys.

How you got into the Chalet School: They were the books I refused to grow out of. :)

How you found the CBB: I googled it after seeing a write up of one of the weekend gathers in a FOCS magazine many, many years ago.. I'm no longer a member of FOCS, but I am still here...

How lovely to see you again Eilidh. Congratulations on the new additions to the family.

May we hope for some more doings of the Maynard boys? I loved those drabbles....

Hello Eilidh - welcome back! I remember you having your first baby (September 2012, the week Andy Murray won the US Open, if my very strange historian's brain recalls correctly?), so congratulations on the second one :D .

Thanks everyone! I am writing, I promise!

Alison, I am truly stunned - I had to resort to Google but yes, Andy Murray won the US Open the day after my Andrew was born. I am not sure I ever knew that before. :D

 - I can remember things like that with no trouble, but I spend about half an hour a day looking for my keys! Glad to hear he's now got a sibling as well :D .

Welcome back Eilidh! I remember meeting you at the 2006 Robin Hole Gather and since then I have also gone on to have two children. Nice to see you back.
