Given the fact that ivohenry didn't get any obvious responses, suspect I know the answer to this.
But does anyone buy the Armarda paperbacks anymore.
Having to down size and can not justify having multiple copies of my chalet books, so regrettably the Armarda's have to go.
Most are in reasonable condition and would be £1 each plus postage, some are rather scruffy and would be free apart from postage

You're right, I had no replies so they were still in the Oxfam shop last time I looked. I didn't buy any of them as I thought it rather unlikely anyone would want them. Perhaps some child might do so and get hooked - hope so!

I might be interested in some for a friend who likes them but doesn’t have many. She could use some soothing CS reading at the moment

Which titles do you have?

ETA Would you mind sending me a message in case I forget to check here?

I collect Armadas in that I am trying to get copies in each of the different styles.

However, by now, there are very few I am missing, and what tends to be offered are the more common ones. In addition, as I am only really looking for the covers, I am not prepared to pay very much. That means the postage costs can be a very significant proportion of the costs. There's also a bit of an issue in that it is very difficult to know whether a book exists in a particular style - if someone asks me for what I am looking, I can produce a long list but some of those will not exist. Finally, I do prefer to see pictures of the covers to make sure that I am getting the right thing (for example, the Collins editions were published with both black titles and with shiny coloured titles. Telling me the book is Collins is insufficient). Sometimes I buy variant colours (when a book is reprinted with the same style cover, the colours may not be quite the same - my white spine copies of Triplets have different text colours on the spine) but that's really difficult to do online since I need to compare them with my copies. Most of my variants I've acquired as part of a job lot which I have bought because it was the cheapest way of acquiring a particular other book.

if you are selling, then the later books in the series or those published only in the 4th style (coloured spine) tend to be most in demand. They are the rarest and they were not abridged.

Must admit to never having really got to grips with the various styles. Did have all the armada CS books, however one or two have had to be binned as they are where quite literally falling apart, Have all the later ones some with white spines some coloured. Will give it a few days and see if any interest, otherwise I suspect sadly they will end up in a charity shop

I’ll take some but is it ok if I leave ok at your list when I’m more awake? I’m happy for Victoria to have first pick.

Oh that's a pity, bookbinding has been my main hobby for many years and I could probably have saved them for you.

If any of the later Swiss ones are available, I'd be interested.
