I thought Madge's "Be Brave" speech might be useful at the moment :D .

Quote:
Be upright; be honest; be brave. Courage is a great thing, and we do not know how soon we may need it, nor how far we may have to strain it in the days ahead. So take this for your motto for the rest of this year: "Be brave!"

If anyone's self-isolating, or staying in due to government requirements where they live, or feeling anxious because of what's going on, please join in with CBB threads for company, if it helps at all.

Hi, it was CS in Exile, I think, or the one before. I'm re-reading the whole series for the 1st time in 30 years but reading the fill ins in sequence too.
Be brave is apt right now. I've spent 16 weeks today in the San (my bedroom) after being very ill with the virus and suffering from the effects of it messing up my immune system badly. The CS books are a big comfort just now. Quote was mentioned again in Lavender. I'm starting on Gay from China right now. Found this forum 8 weeks ago in trying to find the right sequence of the fill ins (thank you, terrific help here)

So glad CBB is helping you Deafdoggy, and a warm welcome to the Board, despite the circumstances. I hope your health is improving now, such a scary thing to go through.

My support system, apart from zoom singing and chatting, consists in watching live webcams of osprey nests! I know I am not the only one but need to warn people that ospreyitis is as catching as covid! A good deal nicer though

My support system includes my family. Also I find other people can be helpful too. How are we all? True, courage is a great quality to possess in times of trial.
