Welcome to the CBB Digest for 8-14 July, 2012.

All are welcome to attend the Celebration of Pat Willimott's life at Sprotbrough Methodist Church, Doncaster, Monday, 16th July, 10.45 a.m. Some of those unable to be present also plan to wear a touch of lime green.

Gathering News (Kaffee und Kuchen)

● The Scottish group plans to meet in Dundee on the 11th of August.
●The Winchester group's next meet-up is tentatively set for the 21st of August at Maison Blanc.
● The next weekend gather has been scheduled for Robin Hole, near Ilkley, Yorkshire, on 12-14 October, 2012.
● Only members of the Kaffee und Kuchen usergroup can access gathering threads. Please PM Abbeybufo or Katherine if you are over 18 and would like to be added to the group.

Discussions

This week, Special Sixth hosted new discussions on the Peace League, Who Changes the Most?, and Mothers or Best Friends.

New topics in Lemon Biscuits and Liberty Bodices included Grizel and Music and which pupils attended the CS from start to finish.

They Both Liked Dogs is still the most active topic in Thrilling Terms at La Rochelle, while speculation about upcoming offerings by GGBP continued in South Shields to Switzerland.

Please feel free to join into any of the discussions, ancient or modern. New threads on the Chalet School, EBD, or her other works are very welcome.

Drabble News

Both of this week's SDL entries were written for the Sport challenge at Lime Green Musing:

We'll Support You Ever More, by Alison H
Jem's Round, by Beecharmer

If you'd like to catch up on historic drabbles not necessarily available in the Sally Denny Library, try the Index Drabble-orum, a list of archived CBB drabbles alphabetized by author. The Index provides links to entries from the earliest version of the CBB to the transfer of drabble functions to the SDL. Only St. Mildred's drabbles, indexed here, are excluded.

No new members entered profiles in Spot Supper this week. If you haven't yet introduced yourself in Spot Supper and need inspiration, try starting with the CBB profile template.

If you’d like anything included in next week’s edition, or if we missed out on anything in this week’s edition, just send one of us a PM.

See you next week,
JB, Kathy_S & Abbeybufo
