Definitely intending to come for at least part of it - I'm not sure yet how much it would be, though.

That sounds terrific - thank you so much for organising it and I'd definitely like to come if I can, though I'll probably only be able to make Saturday. I really look forward to meeting people.

I would love to come - I was at the first Fenny Compton gather so it seems right to try to get to this one, despite life conspiring against me for most of the others!

However, life being what it is, I won't know until quite near the time. Probably will be a last minute entry for the Saturday, and if I decided to do either other night and you're full, I'll take the travelodge option.

Ten years! The CBB was the first thing I found when I got internet at home, and I didn't realise for a few months that it was still quite new. I know I don't post much these days, but I'm still here :)

Love the idea, but sadly it clashes with something else I have already booked for that weekend, so I shall have to pass on this one!

Hope you all have a great time :D

I was hoping to make it but February is impossible unfortunately. It's not that easy to pop over for just a weekend. Hope you all have a fantastic time.

Would love to come, but train prices from Scotland all the way down to Milton Keynes are so expensive - cheapest is over £100, going up to £275, so that puts it out of my price league, I'm afraid. Do you ever do gathers at a more central location?

In addition to the Milton Keynes gather in the Spring, there is normally a gather at Robin Hole which is near Ilkley in Yorkshire in the Autumn organised by Dawn and others.

There is also a group of Scottish CBBers who meet slightly more frequently on a more informal basis. I'm sure one of them will be able to pop up with the details!

Unfortunately, train travel has almost become a luxury. It can be much cheaper (though less green of course) to fly between Scotland and England!

Milton Keynes is pretty much as central as it gets. It's 40 mins from me and I'm only 2 miles from the village that is the technical centre of England. We didn't have many members who we knew from they're profile who were Scottish when we looked at initial locations for the Gathers.

We do sometimes have Scottish gathers, Claire, so it's worth keeping an eye on the threads in Kaffee und Kuchen. The last one was in Dundee, and I'm hoping to host one in Peebles in the Spring.

thanks, Joey. Peebles would be wonderful - I'm in Musselburgh, so less than an hour away. I'll keep my eyes peeled for further details. ANd let me know if you need a hand with anything.

Ah, I would have loved to have come but I'm moving to the UK in May, so can't really make a second trip! Hope everyone has a lovely time, though, am very jealous.

Just a quick plea to say if you are thinking you are properly likely to come and have any special dietary needs then please do let me know, either on here or via PM (and later on the sign up thread). I've already been having vague 'what shall we eat' conversations with people and it's so much easier if I know what won't work now.
Can cater for most needs if I know where I am.
As a matter of course there will be w/f. veggie, rice free and limited potato.
Tiny deep-fried golden potato ball, anyone?
Thanks :)

I love that I'm "as a matter of course' but no I shall pass on the deep fried potato balls.

And yes, I'm coming - health permitting, wouldn't want to miss it.
