Thanks JB - on what list did that come up then? I didn't spot it.

Nor did I spot this one for Anne Mccaffrey fans - The White Dragon, also at 99pence.

Not only that but I see that several are on Kindle unlimited as well.

I just wish they would do the same for Elizabeth Cadell. There are a number of her rarer books on Kindle but way above my limit..

It looks as if I shall have to sign on to the sites that JB mentions.....

My publisher is having a Halloween Sale till Saturday, everything's 99p or 99c so if anyone fancies reading The House at Ladywell it's a Bargain! Available at Amazon.co.uk and .com
Although my new book isn't included in the sale as it's still on pre-order, the paperback is already out. The Convalescent Corpse, a story of Family, Rationing & Inconvenient Corpses.

From the Kindle November sale:
Uprooted by Naomi Novik (I just finished this, and much enjoyed it)

The Reader on the 6.27

Book 2 in the Scarlet and Ivy series The Whispers in the Walls

Joanne Harris A Pocketful of Crows

There are also many delectable cookery books in this month's sale...

Thanks. I’ve bought those Diana Henry books that I didn’t buy last time there was a sale. Highly recommend her Simple and Cook Simple books.

I just finished reading Spinning Silver, Naomi Novik's newest book, so thanks for the tip for Uprooted--I'm looking forward to re-reading it.

I ha to admit I splurged and got it in hardback not long after it came out. Very unusual for me.

Yes it may be of course and I do have some but I find the downloading process to my Kindle somewhat tedious....

Oh dear! I splurged and bought it, cestina. Also Uprooted. Being stuck in the house for over a year, unable to walk far due to severe pain, has a lot to answer for!!! I've always been an avid collector of books, but I dread to think how many more I've bought since July 2017. They're the greatest therapy I know.

I should warn you that the Angela Brazil is NOT a "complete collection" by any means and every book in it is available from PG.
