Being poorly has meant I've been able to sit and read a bit:

1/52 Longbourn by Jo Baker
2/52 A Murder is Announced by Agatha Christie
3/52 The Holiday by Erica James
4/52 Just One Damned Thing After Another by Jodi Taylor
5/52 A Symphony of Echoes (ditto)
6/52 A Second Chance (ditto)
7/52 A Trail Through Time (ditto)
8/52 When a Child is Born (ditto) short story
9/52 Roman Holiday " "
10/52 Christmas Present " "
11/52 The Nothing Girl by Jodi Taylor
(The large number of books is due to a combination of being stricken with a virus AND a suggestion by Sugar and Abbeybufo that I would really love Jodi Taylor's books. As you can see, they were right)
12/52 Peggy's Last Term - Ethel Talbot
13/52 Just Gerry - Christine Chaundler
14/52 Experience - Catherine Cotton (re-read)
15/52 A Happy Failure - Ethel Dawson (re-read)
16/52 Harriet Mannering's Paying Guests - Mrs George de Horne Vaizey (re-read)

Just one question - It says in the rules that transcripts are allowed, but what about audiobooks? I don't always have the concentration for books, but I am quite a fan of the audiobook...

Just my opinion, but I think they should count, so long as you listen to the whole thing. :D

This isn't a competition between you and me. This is a challenge about reading with you against yourself.

If you want to define listening to audio books as "reading"; that's fine as far as I am concerned.

But,you might want to consider: If you struggle to read then perhaps making the effort to read might end up beneifting you. The fact you find it not easy isn't necessarily a good reason not to do it.

Best wishes
