Me too! Found myself wishing the cricket could end in a shared win, both teams deserved it. Good that Kane Williamson got Man of the series award, though he won't feel it compensates for losing so narrowly. Next it's the Ashes!

Followed it ball-by-ball on the radio from France and absolutely devastated, although congrats to England.

Absolutely - it would have seemed fairer. I felt so sorry for NZ. Maybe they'll have better luck in India next time.

Slightly biased but I feel the same and I'm sure I'd have felt the same if the situation had been reversed. India rarely suits our playing style but fingers crossed. :-) Either way, what a fabulous Cup and Final!

I've just had a similar discussion in a tennis forum about the final set tiebreak at Wimbledon, and I've ended up gutted over football penalty shootouts more times than I care to remember. I suppose finals have to be decided one way or another, but it's very hard on any team or player to lose like that.

So here we are with England playing away against NZ and the T20 series going to the fifth match and a super over... Luckily the result was clear!

I'm sure most people will have heard the "application for joint custody of the World Cup" but if you haven't...
