That's what I was thinking...

Jo is playing so well against Berdych! Hope he can keep it up in case the rain comes back on.

Wimbledon would've had them out on Court 12 and like it, and I think New York and Melbourne probably would as well! Surely even the Parisian schedulers aren't going to try to get everyone on the show courts tomorrow, especially as it now looks unlikely that Gael and Roger'll finish tonight?

Then again, this is Paris, city of strange scheduling  . Glad that there's been this much play today: the forecast last night looked horrendous.

Was very worried after that 3rd set that Tsonga would choke but he has only gone and won it! :trumpet:

Roger will be desperate to finish tonight: I hope it doesn't end up being one-sided. Come on, guys, I'm really up for a thriller here!

Well it started flat and got better!

Shame it's held over to tomorrow now - it'll be a very busy day!

Ah - a bit of sense, they've realised they can't get everyone on the show courts tomorrow. So poor David Ferrer gets shoved on an outside court yet again   .

Andy is 2nd on Lenglen. That's rubbish, I will be super busy at work and unable to keep much of an eye on it. Might catch some/most of Rafa though. And all of the Kvitova match, if I wanted (which I don't).

The joys of being retired is that I might be able to watch it all day ... but I have rather a lot else to do, so will in reality have to pick and choose a bit.

Has anyone seen a forecast for tomorrow's weather in Paris? Are they expecting to be able to catch up entirely??

I'm assuming Nadal will go through in 4 since he is a break up in the 4th so we have:

Jo vs Nishikori
Andy vs Ferrer
Stan vs Federer
Nadal vs Djokovic

4 very close matches to call, anyone fancy guessing?

I hope for: Jo, Andy, Stan, Nadal.

Could definitely have lived without that 4th set, but never mind.

I'm trying to convince myself that the fact that the QF is being played on Rafa's birthday is a good omen and not some really evil trick being played by the tennis gods, but am not really succeeding :( .

To be fair, in the 4th it wasn't exactly close

I will also be cheering Rafa on in that particular match :D

I am not so keen on Jo and don't know much about the other guy but out of the other three hope for Andy, Roger and Rafa.

I'm not keen on Stan, but glad that Jo got through. Now we need to see how tomorrow pans out - naturally I'm rooting for Andy - though I suspect Alison will prefer David Ferrer - and I don't much like Djoko, so I'll be on her [and Rafa's!] side in that match [though SLOC quite likes Nole, so we may be shouting at each other  ]...

I'm for Rafa as well, in that particular match so the whole board will be on Rafa's side!

Happy Jo got through in the end. I do like him, except when he plays Andy. He is rather endearing.

I could really do with one of Jem's doses to put me to sleep until tomorrow's matches are over! Nole's been playing so well that you can't really say anything about anyone losing to him, but it's still going to be horribly painful  .

I wish Stan would get a decent pair of shorts!

I need David to win if the miracle happens and Rafa beats Nole, and Andy to win if Nole beats Rafa, which is a bit too complicated as the matches are on at the same time :? .

I think they would look better (slightly!) if it was a plain shirt he had on. Or the shirt would look a little better if his shorts were plain!

The whole thing has been a fashion disaster  . Someone should tell the sportswear designers that Paris is supposed to be one of the most stylish cities in the world!

Fear not, in a couple of weeks they will all be in whiter than whites at Wimbledon...can't do much with the strict dress code there!
