I really wish I'd taken that "dose". This is a disaster  .

ETA - OK, at least it looks a bit more respectable now!

Am ever so happy to be at work - I don't think my nerves could stand watching it!

Wish Andy (or even David) would hold their serves!!

:banghead:

Rafa.... :dontknow:

It's actually a very good match ... it's just that Nole is getting the better of it :( . At least it's Nole, losing to the world no 1 isn't quite so bad - not that next week's world rankings will care about that, bleurgh - but ...  .

It's quite nerve-wracking, isn't it! At least Andy now has first set!

Rafa is going to have to do it the very difficult way now... :bawling:

I think I read that he will drop to 11 in the rankings but on the plus side he doesn't have that many (in the grand scheme of things) to defend after the FO. And he plays at Queen's which has gone from a 250 to a 500 tournament (as has Halle).

I'm hearing too much about Nole and the career Grand Slam. I've got a feeling Andy'll beat him. Although my feelings tend to be wrong.

Andy'll beat him here? Hm, I'm not so sure about that but I see (I hope!) Andy winning either Wimbledon and/or the US Open. The way Andy is playing I think it would be a real shame if he doesn't win a Slam this year.

I think Andy might get back to no.2 in the rankings given that he went out at both Queen's and Wimbledon early last year and Federer is defending RU points at Wimbledon.

It sure ain't looking good for Andy.

Still, it's grass next. :)

I'm not sure I'll bother watching the final...although I'd like Stan to win (unless Andy pulls off a miracle). How dare someone else other than Rafa be holding that trophy!?

Looking a little better now - if only for pride ... Andy has the 3rd set ...

I can't watch it either!

Lots of internet/commentary talk about faking illness/injury going about.

And on a light-hearted sartorial note, Becker really shouldn't wear an orange cap with his complexion!

Now play suspended for the forthcoming 'orage'

Not surprised - I am about 180k South of Roland Garros and we had a huge thunderstorm about 90 minutes ago and the clouds were moving North:

They've been forecasting a storm all day ... but did it have to turn up just when Andy had the momentum :banghead: ?

Novak did a rain dance when he was off court "changing his clothes"

But how annoying to have such a match suspended.

I'm also travelling tomorrow so have dodgy signal on my phone when it re-starts

Nice to see the ladies' final go to 3 sets, and someone different win the men's doubles.

Allez Stan! I know this sounds like sour grapes, but I'm not quite ready to see Nole and his annoying fist-pumps complete the career Grand Slam just yet.

I guess the positive is that Andy got a baguette instead of a bagel this time...?

Anyway Alison I am with you - allez Stan! Djokovic showed very.bad gamesmanship vs Murray so I want Stan to win!

Re: Serena vs Lucie - at least Lucie won the women's doubles yesterday.

Glad Lucie got something - when she took the second set I really hoped she was going to come back and win, but sadly not.

I don't like either Stan or Novak, so am wondering if I shall even watch tomorrow ... :(

(Though I must agree that of the two I'd rather Nole didn't win ...)
