I read this as 'the forthcoming orange', think it must have been lizco's comment about Becker's headgear.

I've bought a mini Toblerone in honour of Stan. (I thought of a Swiss clock but, unlike Emerence  , I can't really afford one.)

Unfortunately, I think this will probably end in Nole winning and me putting on weight :( .

Allez Stan!!

I really hope Nole wins the French one day, and I'm sure he will, but it was all getting too much this year: the press've been carrying on as if it was a dead cert that he'd win the career Grand Slam and then actually do the Grand Slam.

Agreed!

I'm not a fan of Stan, as you know, but I'm really glad he showed that Djoko is actually human and beatable!

Alison, could you please eat Scottish shortbread or strawberries at Wimbledon time - I think Andy could need it!

I'm watching it on +1 having not been in all weekend - happy for Stan.

Stan now has the same number of Slams as Andy does!!

Oatcakes for Andy :D . Only 40 calories each!

Spanish tomato bread is sadly full of calories, and Mallorquin pan amb oli is off the scale.

Oh, I forgot about oatcakes! :D

The win makes Stan no.4 in the world. Rafa is 10.

Yep, I'm rather looking forward to the hard court season, when the world rankings really can only get better! I am not looking forward to the Wimbledon draw.

Nadal is into the final in Stuttgart - he will play Triocki for the title.

And let's not forget Queen's starts very shortly! :D

Three cheers for Eurosport changing their schedule to show the semi earlier today! They were originally going to show Formula E - I don't even know what that is, but I assume it's some sort of motor racing (sounds like a medicated facewash  ) but showed Rafa v Gael instead :D .

I kind of want to cry with joy/relief, but it's very hard not to laugh when there's a bright yellow Mercedes parked on the court.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Maybe Rafa can take the garish car for a spin? :dontknow: :bawling:

He is playing in the doubles as well though - and at least Dimi managed to conjure up an escape act.

Dolgopolov had one of those days when he got everything right. Bah! Just when things seemed to be on the up :( .

Number 2 nephew has just expressed his regret about Rafa losing :( .

He's only 3 1/2, but I have him very well trained  .

And now he's been avenged by Garcia-Lopez!

Rain has stopped play until tomorrow apparently.

Whoever wins between Andy and Troicki will have to play twice in the one day. :banghead:

Kei pulled out of his Halle semi-final injured, as did Monfils in the quarter final and Jo didn't play it at all, so several top players in doubt for Wimbledon. :banghead: :bawling:
