Ah, all is explained! I confess I have never played with Pokemons.

I think y'all might want to know that Pokémon is the plural of Pokémon. (Pokes and Mons are frequently used also, albeit rather more casually)

Ah! I did not know this! Perhaps we should do the same with 'politician'...

Why don't we treat politicians like Pokémon period? We put them in balls, increase our friendship by running around and leveling them up, and use them to fight our battles. It wouldn't be hard to frame politics as Pokémon battles (e.g. Jeremy used Heal Block). Well, it would get us nerds a bit more interested, anyway...

I miss when all my lessons were in one building... And when
I didn't have a long coat. It's very cosy, but if I don't wear the belt, it only fastened at the neck and is open the rest of the way down, so I still get wet. Two of our history teachers' son has no power at his school, so they were asked to pick him up "if they lived near enough". In the end, e agreed that head have a whale of a time playing games in the dark, and they left him there.

I've been off sick this week, so was lucky not to have gone out in storm Doris. Feeling a lot better today which is good :) Hope everyone is okay too!

Glad you're okay, Emma!

Doris was just a lot of strong wind here - made me think of Skyla's Gym from Pokémon Black 2/White 2. (I very occasionally do my hair like the female player character Rosa too, although at the moment I'm just going for regular pigtails). Thankfully no particular problems AFAIK.

*Falls asleep in a different corner to Abi*

I'm tired and fed up. I've just had a choir rehearsal that was supposed to be forty minutes and ended up nearly three hours, for a concert tomorrow, and the teacher is still changing the actions and telling us off for not knowing them. I wish someone had told her that a complete overhaul of the most difficult number the day before the concert was, perhaps, not the best idea...

Happy International Women's Day everyone! Is it being celebrated in America with our great feminist icon in the White House?

It's been more than a week, so I'm not spreeing.

It is 5 in the morning over there, but I doubt Lord Dampnut will faff about with it; he's too busy messing up the lives of the people and stuff.

But there are loads of awesome women out there, I might do some shoutouts when I'm not hurriedly typing because I have a lecture to go to. :D
