The Bose QC35 ones. The padding on them is good enough that most of the time I don't need to switch the active noise cancelling on. But they do cost nearly £300... swingsnroundabouts...

Definitely worth serious consideration, thanks :)

Sorry to spree (but it's been three days!) I marched today. It felt good.

Oh excellent, I wondered if any of us were marching. Had I not got two horribly arthritic knees I would have been there too. As it was I was glued to the television for the Livestream from Washington.

Yesterday, instead of celebrating my birthday (a half-round one as the Czechs would say) we sat listening to Requiem masses for most of the day, in particular the Dies Irae - the Day of Wrath, that Dreadful Day....

And this evening I have been indulging in many songs by one of my favourite activist folk singers, the Australian Judy Small, who has sadly retired from performing since she is now a Federal Circuit Court judge. I am delighted to say that I am the proud owner of all her CDs (which are irritatingly in the Czech Republic when I want them!)

I was on holiday (on a training course) on Friday so was in my own little bubble. It was reinvigorating and seeing colleagues saying seeing us march with them around the worldwide was helping them was one of the best bits. The music sounds amazing cestina!

I finished my day by attending my friend's 30s era murder mystery birthday. I took my back story straight from a mixture of various GO books and much much fun was had! :)
