Sorry to spree (but it's been three days!) I marched today. It felt good.
Oh excellent, I wondered if any of us were marching. Had I not got two horribly arthritic knees I would have been there too. As it was I was glued to the television for the Livestream from Washington.
Yesterday, instead of celebrating my birthday (a half-round one as the Czechs would say) we sat listening to Requiem masses for most of the day, in particular the Dies Irae - the Day of Wrath, that Dreadful Day....
And this evening I have been indulging in many songs by one of my favourite activist folk singers, the Australian Judy Small
, who has sadly retired from performing since she is now a Federal Circuit Court judge. I am delighted to say that I am the proud owner of all her CDs (which are irritatingly in the Czech Republic when I want them!)
