Congratulations, Finn! :) Party!

Tour De Yorkshire passed near where I lived today. Luckily I was taking a client down for tea, and managed to catch a bit of the village near where we live that it was going through on the tv :) my parents went and there were loads of people there.

Nice one, Finn, enjoy the cocktails! Well-deserved!
My husband has made a big jug of cocktail for my friend and me. It may be about four times normal strength. Be glad I can still construct sentences :D

Congratulations Finn, that's great news.

I'm currently tickled pink because in his latest vblog, the lovely Joseph Calleja just replied to a question I asked him and even got my name right, which isn't an easy one to pronounce for someone whose first language isn't English. OK, so he misunderstood the question and I'm not really any the wiser, but it was a nice answer anyway.

Well done!

I'm happy because I've just arrived in Vienna, home of the von Eschenau family. :D

Just to balance out my recent sad posts, I have come out of my fifth therapy session feeling really hopeful. It's the second one where I've felt as though something quite significant has happened which I honestly didn't expect either so soon or with the first private therapist I tried. At the moment I'm feeling quite hopeful that things might be able to change!

Am in Belgium on holiday and we went by Courcelette to visit Anne of Green Gables "son's" cemetery! So it's not just Chalet School that crosses that wonderful boundary of the imagination to become so real. And it's warm and sunny!

Whereas it's grey and damp here, though the weather was quite good when I was in Derbyshire last week (didn't see much of it though, because I was working). Have a lovely time!

Taking advantage of the fact that work is paying for me to go to a meeting in London on Friday by then staying down for the weekend with my best friend from school days. On Saturday we're going to retrace our steps from a day out we had together more than 30 years ago by heading into Kent to go to Rochester Castle and Cathedral and then on to Canterbury Cathedral (including Evensong hopefully).

Best of luck Liz! The trick for me was always just to enjoy the process (and occasionally imagine the interviewer in his/her underpants were they particularly obnoxious).

If I thought of it as something interesting to be enjoyed rather than a matter of urgency to get the job, that worked much better for me...
