Does anyone know how you strike through a word on the SDL? Thanks!

If tinyMCE is enabled there's a button that look like ABC you can click. Otherwise use text to get text.

Not really a problem (except I can't find anywhere to put it...)
Where do you make suggestions? I found a link for a "suggestion box" that took me a blank page.

What I wanted to suggest is that pages like the "Internet and CCB acronyms" need to be updated. I've been here for 6 years and many of these I've never once seen. I read it when I first joined but it's only been marginally helpful.

On the same note, I was trying to find the CBB archives. On the way, I found a number of alleged links that either didn't work or took me to error pages. I feel that defunct links need to be removed.

I would point out that I am happy to do some of the grunt work myself if that would be useful - I don't expect the Mods to have the time to search for dead links.

I believe something like that is more appropriate for a new thread in The School Noticeboard as it's mostly CBB relevant. I've noticed before that some of the archived threads just need a typo fixing in their URLs - I'll go ahead and compile a list.

I'm having trouble with the 'edit' function in SDL. I posted the first two chapters of a story, and managed to go back in and edit them (sort out the spacing., etc). With the third chapter, whenever click on 'edit', there is no story text there to edit. It's disappeared!
I've tried making sure the 'style' is consistent throughout, but still no joy. I've tried on two sucessive nights and it's still the same.
I use firefox - is it a browser issue?

It might be, but also there is an option somewhere in the SDL settings called something like Mini MCE editor I think, and it’s usually the root of that sort of evil if I remember correctly. It seems odd that it is doing it with only one chapter though, unless it was unchecked when you did the first two and is on now? Maybe try adding another new chapter, and then if that works go back and delete the dodgy one?

Beecharmer - you're a genuis! It's worked - thank you so much. I was getting very frustrated with it, and that's solved the problem.

Lol *bows*

Can’t take full credit, lots of people had that problem when SDL was first restarted, and it used to drive me mad (or madder...)

Glad it’s fixed :-)
