One thing I'd just like to flag to all drabblers, especially newer members of the board, is the importance of keeping a backup of your work. Several times, we've ended up losing the majority of the content on the CBB, including all the drabbles, through hacking or the thread eating monster. There's no guarantee that the same thing won't happen to the SDL at some point in the future so it's really a good idea to keep a copy somewhere on your computer or a memory stick.

As for your drabble Someone, there's no age limit as to who can post what on the SDL.

Could someone please specify, I don't quite understand what that means, if it's not sexually explicit or graphically violent?

Er...me again.

As anyone who has read any of my drabbles will know, my AU contains a lot of OCs. I plan to write a drabble with only OCs in it, in a non-CS setting, in order to set things up for, and help readers to understand the plot of, another drabble with a lot of Canon characters in it. (It's those Maynards again...)

My question is: am I allowed to do this?

OK, one more question.

I have an idea for a drabble in which a character expresses some views which are very racist/sexist/homophobic ect, ect. These are viewed by all other characters (and the author/narrator) as being "wrong" and she is sat on. I am using this incident as a reason for some people to decide that she must be Sorted Out - kind of the last straw - and is not mentioned after the first chapter. Is this "objectionable content" and are there any guidelines for the use of the word "nigger", if not used by the author, and if a character points out that this word is not to be used?
