Having been reading my way through old FOC newsletters, I came across advice for people who might be thinking of submitting fills-in to GGBP.

Basically, they were more likely to consider people who had been publishing short stories in one of the fan clubs magazines, or writing fan fiction online. Presumably this gave an indication of how well people wrote, whether they were capable of developing their idaes and even whether they had the committment to the "job",

Have they published Does It Again? I'm looking for it at the moment and the prices on Amazon are mad. At least £200 for a hardcover, with one at well over £900.

I'll be buying New Mistress soon.

It looks as though it's out of print.

Up till now i had not, and now most are out of print.

Just had Bettany twins and the Chalet School in the post today - so that's my evening reading sorted out!

I'm so jealous. I love living in South Australia (especially at the moment) except when a new GGB book is due! I guess I will read Bettany Twins in a few months!

I preordered it from the book depository, as delivery and payment is easier that way.

This is incredibly sad but I pre-ordered the GGBP version of Jo Returns even though I have it in hardback. The hardback doesn't have the illustrations though.

When I get paid, I'm getting New Mistress.

I had paperback if Exile and ordered a GGBP Exile.
The thing is I could identify the parts that had changed, including words and sentences added, not only the big changes
