Can anyone remind me which of the books is dedicated to Joey Timmins, and does anyone know anything about her? I watched a film yesterday in which one of the actresses was called Joey Timmins, and, although she'd be too young to have known EBD, I wondered if there was a connection, maybe a niece or other relative. It's quite an unusual name ... in fact, according to Google, she now goes as Josephine Timmins, presumably because agents assumed "Joey" would be a man. Josephine rather than Joanne or Joanna's now quite rare, as well. Could be a complete coincidence, but I just wondered!

Chalet girl from Kenya. "For my god-daughter Joey Timmins (Josephine Mary Loyola Timmins..."

Published 1945, so maybe a baby then, age about 75 now. Could be a grandmother by now! Does sound a likely connection.

Just looked on Ancestry, quick glance not found one born around then so maybe older.

Just looked more closely, name is Timms not Timmins, so no connection! Odd what one sees, I saw Timmins when I looked at the list because I was expecting to see it!

Ah, I've imagined the connection in that case - seeing CS connections everywhere!
