Probably but I've had very bad reports of her Northanger Abbey modernisation.

Is this a good time to say a Facebook friend and fellow Chalet collector bumped into her at Edinburgh Airport this morning?

Lol who's to say she isn't one of the drabble writers already !! :-D Though I doubt it, you never know !

I can't marry up her style with a fill in, but would love to see what Lindsay Gordon or Kate Brannigan had to say about the school :-D

Thinking about it, one of the Lindsay Gordon mysteries is set at a girls school, isn't it? Will have to have a reread now I know she is a CS fan and see if can detect anything. :-D

Hehe, I would love that! It would be interesting to see what she made of it.

A Report to Murder, the first Lindsay Gordon, is set in a girls' school.

I'd like to be Kate Brannigan and I loved those books were set in a city I knew fairly well.

I wouldn't see it as a murder story, just a straight fill in. Perhaps not in the prescribed style where nothing of note happens though. That's quite dull. Maybe she could write a future fill in? I hope she's lurking...

I wasn't hugely keen on her Jane Austen drabble (I actually preferred Joanna Trollope's, which got worse reviews).

But, in answer to the first question, clearly she's up for such writing jobs, so maybe GGB should make her an offer :)
