I'm going to make a guess that the 24th was Abbeybufo - though if it hadn't already been confirmed that she wasn't the first I'd have been tempted. Now I know there's no Finn ones I am between Alison H, Abbey and Cestina for Dec first, which probably means none of them did it!!

And I'm happy sticking to the 23rd being minim then :-D I did really think it was, but was thrown off by the swearing bit.

*waits to probably be proved wrong with this too!!*

Oh well ! Was worth a try !! Cestina maybe for that one then??? Though I still wonder about her for number one...

It's weird how hard it is. Also I'm always surprised with things like this that my own things aren't really obvious, I feel when I post it people will know unless I've very actively tried to post differently from myself, which I didn't here.

ETA :-( ugh, nope I'm no good at this, now I am suspecting Cestina for the Natalie one...

24th? Nope. Not the first one either....

Funny, I actually thought mine was fairly obvious :D

I'm really guessing, but wonder if you, Cestina, were responsible for Gisela's letter, which I know was fairly early on but don't have the date in front of me. I had thought perhaps you were Natalie, but as you have already denied that one.... Also, Abbeybufo, did you write the Betty Wynn-Davies letter on December 9? I must admit I haven't a clue about any of the others, though I thought they were all really good.

Yeah, there wasn't enough of it. I swear a lot. (Not that I'm admitting anything yet, mind!)

The Space Log struck me as being very Beecharmer-ish myself, though. That's about the only one I've got any good guess on!

I didn't think you swore much in drabbles though, but perhaps that's me being out od date and thinking of your drabbles I've read most as they were a lot of them written when you were 14 /15 !

It was an impressive collection, thanks - I'm glad I reread the drabbles and found them !

As for your guess... 8) well done :-D

That was a rest day post though, so still a letter for people to guess there too and maybe more...

I think the 24th might have been Sealpuppy - 'sprig' is somehow one of her words, Polly Winterton might have been Brie, and I think Natalie might have been Alison H again. I also think that Nell was Elle. Bette's bairns might have been Cestina - she's generally pretty hot on her research!

As confirmed, I am one of the drabblers but afraid I can't take credit for Polly, although hers was great so I wish I could have!

I really struggled to guess this year but I am going to say JS for either the first or last letter?

Perhaps AlisonH for Bette's?

Well, good Chalet School girls don't swear. And yes, most of them were written half a decade ago, eeeep. Doesn't time fly? :?

Just read them through again and - like Abbeybufo - I know of three Robins by their real names but not numbers, if you see what I mean. For what it's worth, these are my guesses:

2 - Simone: Mrs Redboots
4 - Gisela: Cestina
9 - Betty W.D: Abbeybufo
and either 19 or 21 - Abbey (though I also think the letter from the cats could be Abbey as well!)

Probably all wrong but it was lovely reading them again.

Mine is certainly wrong ... not even sure if anyone has mentioned my actual one yet in conjunction with anyone ...

Oh I think so Alison, given how wildly astray some, if not all, of the guesses are turning out :D
