This week we start discussion of the La Rochelle books. I'll start it off with a brief summary of the timeline and locations of the various books, main characters in each, and how the various characters connect with each other and the books. (This can be kind of confusing, particularly if you haven't read the entire set).

For those who haven't read the series, the La Rochelle series consists of seven loosely connected books with a number of overlapping characters. The name is taken from the setting of the third book, a house in Guernsey. A number of the characters also appear in the main Chalet series.

The Willoughbys: Sir Piers, his seven kids (Maidie, Rex, Marjoliane, Peter, David, Dina and Noel), his second wife Sigrid and her daughter Bernadine plus Piers's much younger

Couple of small corrections - youngest Willoughby child is Tim not Noel, and Sigrid's daughter is Britta.

However, great summary of families, thanks for this!
