Yes please! Sounds like just the ticket. Only thirty six minutes until I can go home, too.

As usual I have a great big pile of marking and even more planning to do and it is looking at me and I am not doing it... Instead I am on here, drinking coffee and eating a rather wrinkly Satsuma!

Sounds like much the better option, Elle!

I only have about six sociology essays left to mark, but the are so DULL! And they take forever to mark. As does planning the lessons. I can dash off history lessons (and even marking) fairly quickly, but because I don't know sociology so well I am always having to look things up and check facts and I hate it!

Thanks!

I now have four left... One of them was absent for the essay :)

I'm getting a bit fed up with January.

Tea? Coffee? Hot chocolate with flakes and marshmallows?

Hot chocolate sounds like just the thing, even better than tea, which is what I have got. But I need the tea to wake me up properly, really. Ah well!

I love snow too, but not when I've got to cycle to the next town for a singing lesson. Am crossing my fingers for it to appear a bit later on this evening - if we get any at all, which we don't, often, in the Midlands :(

There was sleet on my car when I left work tonight. But I have music lesson tonight and my teacher lives at the top of a steep, winding hill, so I can manage without snow tonight. :)

We had a snow shower this afternoon, but it didn't last. More snow promised! I have to go to work in the morning, so please stay away :)

Well, our snow arrived at about 5.40, ten minutes after I'd set off for my singing lesson in the next town, not wearing clothes appropriate for snow.

I arrived quite damp…

(Fortunately my lovely teacher had a radiator on, so scarf and gloves at least were dry by the time I left, and the snow had stopped!)

Glad the snow had stopped by the time you left, Finn!

Me too! I'm cold and aching even after a hot shower. My knees feel like I've been fell-walking, not cycling from one town to another!

We've had a bit of snow. Not enough to warrant taking shelter in a herdsman's hut, but it's definitely snow all the same!

No snow here yet, and I doubt it would settle anyway after all the rain we've had
