Being bored (yet again) I found myself thinking about Snakes and Ladders in connection with our statuses - there go another hundred posts or so, much of the time. No ladders, though!

Shall we have another go at some board games, as we did briefly once before? Anyone for Monopoly?

I'll only play Monopoly if I can be the Dog. And if somebody will relieve me of this troublesome dolls house

*hands Abi the Hat* That's OK, it's just me being costume curatorish again - the Iron is just as appropriate!

NB I know the Iron has been retired as a playing piece, but this is an old set!

Tries to remember what the pieces were ...it's such a long time since I played Monopoly - over 50 years! Wasn't there a boot? I'll have that, please, if I'm remembering aright.

I'm very sorry, but the hat is urgently required for a man in the dolls house who is about to attend a wedding - it is a top hat isn't it?

I think we may have run out of playing pieces now - or is there a ship?

Otherwise I will pinch the lead piping from the Cluedo set.....

Exile's nabbed the ship, so you'd better have the lead piping - or the dagger!

Well who irons these days?

Probably everyone except me. I'm such a slattern.

There's usually a racing car as well. The iron was replaced by a cat - well, they tend to 'press' my clothes, given half a chance!

*suddenly realises that if we're playing Monopoly, I can charge Cestina for this dolls house....*

Umn. Are dogs allowed to receive money in payment for houses ? Or indeed rent ?

*chases new-fangled cat round board.*

...and as I feared, I have scarlet fever again! I'll need to call out my moves from the san. window, I'm afraid, and have a separate set of dice*.

[*not weighted, oh no, of course not!]
