Fortunately, Nell only had pleasant hallucinations this time, and rather enjoyed the experience.

Unfortunately when she "borrowed" the smelling salts to try and repeat the experience, the hallucinations were quite horrific and she woke up screaming.

Unfortunately, she also woke up the babies at Freudesheim, and Joey was less than impressed.

Unfortunately, this had also disappeared thanks to Matey's secret binges.

Fortunately with a little ingenuity Nell was able to locate Hilda's cache of (medicinal) brandy and helped herself

Unfortunately, Hilda was inclined to be suspicious where her brandy was concerned, and had booby-trapped her cache.

Fortunately, mixing Matey's patent remedy with Hilda's brandy enabled Nell to see the funny side of the situation, and, in fact, of everything else!

Unfortunately, Matey did not see the funny side, and invented a medicine to cure laughter.

Fortunately the Middles were aware of the position of the CCTV and were careful mostly to avoid its range when indulging in pranks

Unfortunately Matey had also bugged the dormitories, so although the CCTV showed nothing, she heard the giggles and came storming in to see what was going on
