It struck me that this article in today's Guardian opens up a whole range of possibilities. All those jobs I could have applied for had I not lacked the qualifications!

Just to start us off:
Perfume testing if one has no sense of smell
Lifeguard even though a non-swimmer
Maths teacher even if numerically challenged
A wine buff as a beer tester
Footballer though can't kick a ball

(For those too young to remember, the title is a reference to a very long-running TV programme...)

Exactly so!

Actually that reminds me of a real-life one - a county fungus recorder (yes apparently all counties have one of these) and great mycological expert/photographer who is highly allergic to mushrooms....

Well, I must say that I sympathise with the teacher in Florida. Only this morning, I was looking at a huge house which has come up for sale in our little town. It costs a million pounds. The staff in the estate agent's office told me that I could not buy it with the £15 in my wallet. I think I will sue them for discrimination against a person who is not wealthy.

Or a tone deaf singer? (I speak as someone who went through school life being told to mime the words to songs and not on any account to try to sing them.)

Me too!

On the TV programme Great British Menu they have more than once had a chef judging who has a shellfish allergy, so they have to have someone else to do the tasting of the fish course (and/or the starter) if the contestants have chosen to include shellfish, which seems to a bit unfair as it means the same person may not be judging all three contestants.
