I think approximately a Con Stewart or possibly a nameless Nurse.

Do you think the Dennys are really brother and sister?

I think they're really one and the same person.

What disproves this theory ?

My theory, which is that Tristan Denny is actually a Russian agent in deep cover who learned most of his English from reading Shakespeare, and Sarah is his MI6 handler, also in deep cover. Hence their very different appearances, his weird speech and her facility with lots of languages (plus other intriguing skills like handicrafts), and her mysterious years abroad in Italy...

Will I ever grow up?

I hope not. I am not planning to and I am 75 next birthday.

Does playing with dolls houses mean I am still a child?

No, it simply means you haven't grown up, which is a different thing. I ran into quite a lot of people when I was at work who did claim to be grown up and they seemed to have pretty boring lives, so I don't think I could recommend it. Mind you, that's only an observation; I've never had any plans to do it myself either and I'm 61 in a couple of weeks.

Is it time to start feeding the garden birds yet?

I have the food ready but it has been so wet in between the sunny spells that I haven't put it out yet. I think this October thinks it is channel(l?)ing April.

Shall I start a business importing dried wild mushrooms from the CR?

Yes, why not? After all, you're so busy, you'll surely have time for another side-line.

Will I ever see the drying cabinet you once promised me? :hiding:

Good heavens I had completely forgotten that! So sorry......

Yes indeed, if you still want one :) But sadly not till next autumn probably.

Can you wait that long?

It's either a thing of purpose and a joy forever, or a whimwham for a duck's mother, depending on which way up you hold it.

Why ?!

Because God likes a laugh, I can only suppose...

If God intended us to read each other's minds, what would he have done?

Put a TV screen in our foreheads?

Would he have included an on/off switch?

Gosh, I hope so.

Is today an early dinner day or a late dinner day?

Late dinner for me, as I wait until I get home from my weekly weigh-in.

Do you usually sleep well after eating a big meal late in the evening?

Yes. No problem.

Do you have one or more hot water bottles?

Nooooooo! I get too hot in bed as it is, especially at the moment when withdrawal is apparently making my ideal indoor temperature somewhere around 14 degrees centigrade.

What is your favourite way of cooking eggs?
