Samuel Johnson's Dictionary.

I clearly know it very badly - 3/10 - so not hard to beat!

Well if I had read to the bottom of one of the questions I'd have got four

What did they tell us at school about reading exam papers all through before starting?

In spite of reading your post before I did the quiz, I fell into the same trap. Possibly with the same question!

Less excuse for me.

:D That's very honest of you Lucy. Clearly your guesses were more educated than some of us managed!

I managed 6/10, although I didn't actually know that many answers. Multiple choice helps a lot, coupled with lots of practice at eliminating wrong answers, and thus increasing the chance of a correct one, by playing regularly on FunTrivia.

As you know, I play on Funtrivia, too, but it doesn't seem to have helped me much!
