Following the same idea as The Positive CS, post three things you dislike about the book. You can post about multiple books but not in chronological order. First post about book 1 below:

1. The School at the Chalet

1. How Madge was able to set up her own school on such a limited amount of savings and the ease with which she did so.

2. Juliet’s parents - no explanation necessary!

3. EBD’s depiction of Frau Berlin despite the CS being multinational with nationality not being an issue for anyone else.

Next book: Jo of the Chalet School

Jo of the Chalet School

1. Rufus's siblings are drowned.

2. The Flood

3.Disobedience in going to the Ice Carnival. However it isn't all bad as Jem and Madge meet again - with the result that in the next book the CS loses Madge to Jem!

Next book: Princess

PS I think that this is the wrong thread as it is a game. Perhaps a Mod can check and move. Ditto the positive CS thread.

Games should usually go in ETAF, but seeing as this one's started in here, and it's specifically about points relating to the books, I think it's OK :D .

I'm sorry - I moved these threads following a PM and didn't read them first. But I'm sure they're OK in their new home

:D The Princess of the Chalet School:

1. EBD gets overly obsessed with Guiding. Guiding's fine, but not that much of it in what's supposed to be a school story!

2. Robin gets locked up. Annoying though she could be, that was going a bit far.

3. Why did neither Jo nor Elisaveta use a grain of common sense and tell an adult what was going on?

Next book - Head Girl

Head Girl :

1) Grizel going off by herself to the falls.

2) The fire in the hotel and they loose everything.

3) Frau Berlin again- no explanation

Rivals:

1. Joey nearly dying, yet again.
2. Poor Elisaveta feeling left out because no-one was writing to her (except Vera).
3. Mary and Elaine, two incredibly useless head girls, nearly coming to blows.

Next book - Eustacia

Eustacia goes to the Chalet School

1. Joey’s attitude towards Eustacia for using the library.

2. Stacie’s recovery will happen only by raising her bed ever so slightly at a snail’s pace.

3. Having a new haircut helps Stacie to become a CS girl

Next book: Chalet School and Jo

2. The Juliet-Kay-Donal-Joey storyline
3. Finding a random orphan and keeping her in a shed

The Chalet Girls In Camp

1) Joey being out of sorts, yet again ( according to the king).

2) The model that Juliet fished out of the lake - and the girls over reacting.

3) The girls trying to do the laundry, and not having any common-sense to realise that they might have to do some under the mistress's supervision and therefore, gain the guiding badge.

Next, Exploits:
