I suspect that between us we could build up a whole (virtual) library of books with unlikely titles. Please add any good ones that you know of or find!

Here are a few, anyway:
Romance Goes Tenting - Phyllis Matthewman (1956) (this gets a Marshall Award for sheer clunkishness!)
Modern Pig-Sticking - Major A Wardrop (1914) (why are books with the word 'modern' usually the most quickly out-of-date?)
The History of the Concrete Roofing Tile - Charles Dobson (1959)

How to be Happy Though Married: Being a Handbook to Marriage by E. J. Hardy (1885)

I see there has been a modern version by someone else.

The ideal wedding present?

Maybe I should put it on my eventual wedding list! I'd suggest a second copy for my fiance but he doesn't like reading so probably wouldn't actually use it.

Not only an unlikely title, a misleading one - that sounds more like one of those juvenile career novels from the 1950s and 60s!
