Good! I hope you like this one, too.

Half term expeditions in Switzerland often saw the girls being guided round a Swiss city by one, or more, member(s) of staff, who had duly read the guidebook before embarking on the trip. How many of the places in this quiz do you remember them visiting?

Joey Maynard was famous for her radio parties on the Gornetz Platz. How many of the programmes mentioned in this quiz do you think her guests listened to?

Both Sybil and Josette were required to accompany Madge and Jem to Australia. Whether they were pleased at the prospect is open to debate. However both girls ended up making their homes there, so it can’t have been too bad. How many of these places do you think they managed to see?

Not having any connections to Australia, I managed 6/10 thanks to a couple of lucky guesses. However I did one of the other quizzes on that page and got 10/10. Could the CBB Australians get 10/10 on "Rhonda goes to Rwanda", I wonder?

In case you are wondering - daughter worked in Rwanda a few years ago . . .

Got 7/10 with a few lucky guesses, haven't been to mainland Australia except Sydney and Melbourne airports on the way to Tasmania.

10/10 on the radio programmes and I imagine Joey's guests would have listened to all of them...

I didn't even attempt Australia. Geography is definitely my weakest link!

Well this one isn't geography!

In the Chalet School series all the cats were apparently called Minette. But what breed were they? This quiz might help you to decide.

I got 10/10 which is rather good as I am allergic to cats.

I'm allergic to cats, too, but fortunately quizzes don't start me sneezing!

I’m sure both pupils and staff of the Chalet School would enjoy a break over the festive season. This quiz has quite a few different ideas for amusement during the holidays.

When they were too busy to produce a Nativity play for Christmas the girls at the Chalet School sometimes held a carol service. How many of these carols do you think they sang?

Shame on me, I got the Silent Night question wrong. My excuse is that we always sing it in German!

By the way when I said I was allergic to cats, it meant that I don't know much about cat breeds because I avoid them.

Me too - it had to be "Silent Night" - only two words in the title. It's not a carol I often sing and like theFrau46 usually sing it in German (btw didn't the CS sing "Adeste Fideles?" rather than the English version?

10 for carols, 9 for amusements - should have listened to my daughter on the Dr Who question :(

It’s almost time to prepare Christmas dinner. This quiz might help to ensure that you haven’t forgotten anything.

10/10 for this one, though the Christmas dinners I've cooked have been anything but traditional.

10/ 10 too, but definitely having to think of what's typical rather than what's eaten here, for the most part...
