Hi everyone! I've been lurking on this board for a while and thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I discovered the The School at the Chalet in my school library when I was 12, and thought it was wonderful. However, this was the only CS book they had, and so despite several re-readings it was almost a decade before I read another. I came across a copy of The CS and Jo on a second-hand book stall in Sainsbury's, and decided that I might as well give it a go! Since then, I've not looked back, and am slowly working my way through collecting the rest of them. I've read 11 so far, mostly in the Tyrol era.

The School at the Chalet remains my favourite, followed by The CS and Jo and Shocks for the CS. I still have lots more to discover, though :D

Hello, Daisy May! I'm also well behind on which Chalet School books I've read - maybe we can discover some of them together? :)
I've just started Eustacia.

Thanks, everyone. I feel very welcome :D

Housemate, I'm actually about to start reading Eustacia, so I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on it.

My thoughts were so vehement I've been offline for days, in case I was offending people! Have you finished it yet? I posted at the very beginning of reading it on the Eustacia thread, so my initial thoughts are there - where we will compare notes? On that thread?

And have you read all the books up till that one? I've read them all to that point, though I'm very hazy on some.

I've just finished it - off to read the thread!

I've read all of the previous books except for Head Girl.
