Hallo Honey&Nuts - I am always envious of people who had CS books in their school libraries!

Hallo!

Just a little aside here: My Job (yay!!!!) requires me to send a lot of emails. Everyone is very nice and kind, but the Chair of the charity couldn't hold it in any longer - she said I always wrote 'hallo' when it should be 'hello'.

I have looked it up, and I think that both variants are acceptable (although I'm doing my utmost to try to remember to use 'e' instead of 'a' when I write an email that will float in the Chair's direction . And I don't want to hijack Honey&Nuts welcome, but what do all you out there use? And is it wrong to use an 'a' instead of an 'e'????

Honey&Nuts, tell me to go away and put this somewhere else if you'd prefer!!!!

Aw, that's so sad!

I read At War at school and was unbelievably confused by the way it started!

Hello ; )

I usually use an 'e' but I defer to the other OOAO on matters of syntax Mr Stephen Fry who I'm sure on an episode of QI said it makes no odds
